ITV Racing Tips - Thursday 7th July
Race 1 - Bahrain Trophy Tips
18+ only. Gamble responsibly. Ts and Cs apply
Yibir came of age to win this race comfortably 12 months ago and the Bahrain Trophy could be the perfect platform for WALK OF STARS to achieve a similar moment of enlightenment.
Charlie Appleby's colt clear has bundles of ability, but immaturity has cost him dearly this season. William Buick's mount still looked extremely green on his first two starts at Newbury and Lingfield and simply didn't handle the magnitude of the Epsom Derby last time out.
I greatly respect both Masekela and Zechariah, but I just feel that Walk Of Stars is the most talented horse in the field. If he can finally put everything together on Thursday, he could be very hard to beat.

I'm keen to side with PERSIAN FORCE, who went into the Coventry Stakes on the back of impressive wins in the Brocklesby and a conditions race at Newbury.
Rossa Ryan got to work on his mount fairly early at Royal Ascot. Persian Force responded well, staying on gamely to finish second to Bradsell.
Stamina is always important on the July Course, which rises steadily uphill towards the finish line. I'd rather bank on the confirmed staying power and quality of Persian Force, than the five furlong speed of Little Big Bear and the potential of both Mysterious Knight and Brave Nation.
Race 3 - Fillies Handicap Tips

This handicap looks tricky, but I think EMERALDS PRIDE represents decent value. Michael Dods' three-year-old finished up behind some decent sorts as a juvenile and clocked an RPR of 73 when winning a maiden on her reappearance. Ben Curtis' mount ran well off this mark at Redcar last time out and remains fairly progressive.
Race 4 - bet365 Handicap Tips

A high draw has often proven beneficial on the July Course at Newmarket, so it could be worth taking a chance on BOSH after he was drawn kindly down in stall 17.
Richard Hannon's charge impressed over six furlongs as a juvenile and ran an excellent race on his reappearance over seven furlongs at Newbury. Things didn't go to plan at Goodwood last time out, but dropping back to six furlongs should suit this strong stayer and Hierarchy's presence leaves Bosh carrying just 9-00 into battle.
Race 5 - Princess Of Wales's Stakes Tips
New customers only. 18+ T&Cs and wagering requirements apply.
As I mentioned earlier, YIBIR was victorious at last year's July Festival and Charlie Appleby's Breeders' Cup hero could bounce back to winning ways in Thursday's feature.
A month after his late charge from the rear in the Sheema Classic came up a neck short, Yibir was surprisingly beaten at 1/4 by Living Legend in the Jockey Club Stakes. William Buick's mount then hit the gates and was slowly away in the Man o'War Stakes at Belmont last time out and simply couldn't recover, keeping on late to finish a disappointing third.
Mostahdaf saw out this trip well behind Broome at Royal Ascot, but he often finds one too good at the highest level and Yibir is a Group One winner over this distance.
