Doncaster will host the final major flat meeting of the season on Saturday, should the meeting pass a morning inspection. If Doncaster's meeting doesn't survive, then Cheltenham will have the ITV coverage to itself after Newbury's card was also abandoned.

Here are my best ITV Racing tips at Doncaster and Cheltenham on Saturday.

ITV Racing Tips Tips - Saturday 28th October

Race 1 - Handicap Chase Tips

Editeur Du Gite could only finish third in this race 12 months ago before going on to win the Clarence House, and Gary Moore will be hoping to see Haddex Des Obeaux follow a similar path of progression. Red Rookie, who would probably want softer ground, remains very well-handicapped. As is Before Midnight, who bolted up in this race off a similar mark two years ago.

With the Twiston-Davies team in such excellent form, I'm going in again on GUY (7/1), who quickly reached a mark of 130 when first pointed at fences. Having lost his confidence over the larger obstacles, Guy was dropped back to novice hurdling last summer, winning nicely at Ludlow on his final start. Guy returned to chasing with an easy win at Fontwell three weeks ago and the five pound rise he received for that win only pushes his mark back up to 127. He must have a massive chance under just 10-3.

Race 2 - Masterson Holdings Hurdle

We've now got a very low quality renewal of the Holdings Hurdle to take in. Blueking D'Oroux brings the highest rating and best handicap form to the table, but Paul Nicholls' runner went out like a light on his only previous start around Cheltenham last season and could be worth taking on at his current price.

BOIS GUILLBERT (12/1) saw off some dangerous older handicappers quite nicely to make a winning reappearance at Kelso 20 days ago. Lucinda Russell's gelding showed plenty of promise last season and travels to Cheltenham on the back of a clear career-best display. He's interesting at an each-way price.

Race 3 - Futurity Trophy Tips

Race 4 - Handicap Chase Tips

Lord Accord returns to the Showcase Meeting on the back of a decent prep run over hurdles and Neil Mulholland's eight-year-old will attempt to defend his crown off just a one-pound higher mark than last year. While last year's winner holds plenty of appeal, I'm going to side with top-weight KINONDO KWETU (10/1), who carried 12-00 to victory in a Class 2 around his beloved Aintree back in May.

Sam England's star was last seen staying on to finish a strong third under top-weight in the Summer Plate at Uttoxeter, where Kinondo Kwetu might have had enough left in the tank to chase down Twig, had he not made telling errors at the fourth and third-last fences. England's stable star remains on the same mark, so as long as there's no further easing in the ground at Cheltenham, Kinondo Kwetu has to be in with a good chance.

Race 5 - Prospect Stakes Tips

The best piece of form on offer in this Listed contest belongs to BALLYMOUNT BOY (3/1), who was only beaten a length by future two-time Group One winner Vandeek when the pair met in the Vintage Stakes on a wet day at Glorious Goodwood.

Adrian Keatley's star then ran well behind Indian Run in the Acomb Stakes, before finishing eighth of ten in the Jean-Luc Lagardere on Arc day at Longchamp. Ballymount Boy will take a massive drop in class this weekend and the last three winners of this contest have had at least four previous runs that season, so the experience James Doyle's mount has gathered this season should give him an advantage.

Race 6 - Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle Tips

Irish raiders dominate the betting for this Pertemps qualifier, with Noel Meade, Willie Mullins and Gordon Elliott all represented. One who catches my eye at the other end of the betting is PARTY BUSINESS (20/1), who finished a good fifth in the 2022 Martin Pipe before landing the Grade Three Handicap Hurdle at Aintree's Grand National Festival.

Ian Williams' seven-year-old endured a tricky season in 2022/23, with a fourth-place finish at Haydock on his final outing the best result he could muster. Five defeats see Party Business make his reappearance running off a lenient mark of just 134 and Charlie Todd's mount could go very well on his first start after a wind-op.

Race 7 - Farewell Flat Handicap Tips

The first four from last week's Catterick Dash reoppose in Saturday's final ITV race. My preference is for MANILLA SCOUSE (7/1), who was forced into making the running from a tricky draw in stall one that day and eventually crossed the line fourth.

The leading duo went a little too quick that day, but whereas Never Dark dropped out the back of the TV, Manilla Scouse kept on fairly well to finish just two lengths behind Vintage Clarets. David Allan's mud-loving mount has been dropped a pound by the handicapper for that effort and might not have to lead having been drawn nicely in stall eight.
