Race 4 - WAR EMPRESS (11)
WAR EMPRESS followed up her promising debut effort with an encouraging run over this distance at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. The daughter of Vercingetorix was reported to be coughing in both efforts. She would have strengthened up during her time off the track and if not in need of the run, she should give the males a run for their money.
Race 6 - ABSOLUTE VALUE (7)
ABSOLUTE VALUE set his own fractions last time and found more where it matters most to hold all challengers at bay over 2000m. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. He tries the 2400m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he can follow up.
Race 7 - KWAZZI’S LADY (5)
KWAZZI’S LADY is one of the better bets on today’s card. She has finished third in her last three starts. The manner in which she finishes off her races suggests that she will love the step up to the mile. Donald Geerthsen takes the 2.5kgs off her back and she can return to winning ways.
