Notable entries include Dancing Gemini, Lead Artist, and Tamfana, with Haatem considered a strong contender given his promising three-year-old form. Despite James Doyle's unfortunate injury, William Buick will ride Haatem, who has shown significant improvement over the winter and is poised for a notable performance. With the race often serving as a precursor to prestigious events like the Lockinge and Queen Anne Stakes, anticipation for standout performances is running high.

2025 bet365 Mile Runners
Dancing Gemini announced his intentions for the season with a runaway success in the Doncaster Stakes on his reappearance. Charyn won that Listed race and this Group Two last term, before going on to dominate the mile division and the bookies make Roger Teal's star the firm favourite to follow in his footsteps.
Kieran Shoemark and the Gosden's team up with Lead Artist, who landed the Thoroughbred Stakes and the Darley Stakes during his first campaign on the track in 2024. Oisin Murphy has been confirmed in the saddle of the returning Tamfana, who secured her first Group One win in the Sun Chariot Stakes last October, before finishing third behind Charyn on Champions Day.
Ryan Moore will partner with Andrew Fabre's French raider Alcantor, following his reappearance victory in the Prix Edmond Blanc at Saint Cloud. With no Godolphin runners in the field, William Buick rides Haatem, who hasn't been seen since his narrow victory in the 2024 Jersey Stakes.
Ice Max will represent the in-form Karl Burke. The field is completed by David Simcock's Cash and Cicero's Gift for Charlie Hills.
2025 Bet365 Mile Tips
Dancing Gemini was wildly impressive when scoring at Doncaster last month. Roger Teal's star has clearly improved for another winter on his back and race fitness should give the favourite an edge.
However, at the prices, I'm inclined to side with the returning HAATEM (11/2), who enjoyed a fantastic first half to his three-year-old campaign.
Richard Hannon's star bolted up in the Craven on his reappearance at Newmarket and wasn't beaten far when third in the 2000 Guineas. Haatem then took his chance in the Irish version of that Classic, but was nutted on the line by stablemate Rosallion, who went on to boost that form by claiming further Group One glory at Royal Ascot.
Hannon decided to drop Haatem down to seven furlongs at the Royal Meeting, where James Doyle's mount carried a three-pound penalty to victory over a decent field in the Group Three Jersey Stakes. Haatem was then due to line up in the Jacques le Marois, but something felt amiss to Doyle on the way down to the start at Longchamp and Hannon's raider was withdrawn on veterinary advice.
Nothing serious came to light when he returned to Britain, but Haatem still missed the rest of 2024. During his pre-season stable tour, Hannon was delighted with the way his colt had wintered, reporting him to be heavier and stronger than last term. Another meeting with Rosallion awaits for Haatem in the Lockinge at Newbury, provided he passes this test with flying colours.

Verdict
With James Doyle out of action after suffering a broken collar bone, William Buick jumps into the saddle of Haatem, who boasts rock-solid three-year-old form and should give a good account of himself on his return in the Bet365 Mile.
