Day 2 of Royal Ascot 2025 promises an exciting lineup with several key races. Top picks include Cinderella's Dream in the 3:40pm Duke Of Cambridge Stakes and Fox Legacy for each-way value in the 5:00pm Royal Hunt Cup. Revival Power offers promising potential in the 2:30pm Queen Mary Stakes, while Rose Prick stands strong in the 5:35pm Kensington Palace Stakes. Tune in for potential wins and thrilling performances.

Just the one Group One race will be run on Ladies' Day at Royal Ascot, with a classy field set to assemble for the 2025 Prince Of Wales's Stakes. Wednesday's card kicks off with four pattern races, before moving into handicaps after the Group One feature.
Here are my best betting tips on day two of Royal Ascot...
9/4 is much too short a price for me to even consider taking in a 25-runner juvenile sprint at Royal Ascot, so I'm taking Zelaina on in Wednesday's opener with REVIVAL POWER (18/1).
Tim Easterby's filly went off at 22/1 on debut at Thirsk and looked extremely green as she sat second-last in the early stages. When David Allen encouraging his mount to move into contention, Revival Power took off, barging past the fillies in front of her and stretching a length clear on the run to the line.
A full sister to former Nunthorpe winner Winter Power, Easterby claimed after that debut win that Revival Power would come on massively for her racecourse debut, immediately stating that the Queen Mary was the objective. A lowish draw in stall nine might not be ideal, but Revival Power has several fast starting types around her to bring her into the race. She offers each-way value against the more fancied fillies.
3:05pm Ascot - Queen's Vase Tips
Given that Aidan O'Brien has completely dominated the three-year-old middle-distance division this season, it's hard to get away from Shackleton and Scandinavia. Nine of the last ten winners of the Queen's Vase have returned a single-figure SP, so it seems sensible to focus on the head of the market. Yet, I feel like all of the fancied runners have questions to answer and none of them stand out to me particularly.
I'm going to take a chance on SPINNING WHEEL (18/1), who is two-from-two since making his debut in April. Simon & Ed Crisford's gelding ground out a narrow victory over a future winner on his first start at Beverley, before holding firm to repel two Gosden colts under a penalty at Yarmouth last time out.
Spinning Wheel hasn't looked particularly classy thus far, but he's nicely bred - by Postponed and out of a Sea The Stars dam. Harry Davies' mount has a good attitude and shapes like a guaranteed stayer over this distance.
3:40pm Ascot - Duke Of Cambridge Stakes Tips
My best bet of the day comes in this Group Two, where CINDERELLA'S DREAM (2/1) can establish herself as the class act in the field.
Charlie Appleby's filly went over to America following a seventh-place finish in the 2024 1000 Guineas. Cinderella's Dream opened her Group One account in the Belmont Oaks and followed up at Saratoga, before suffering narrow defeats in the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf and the Group Two Balanchine at Meydan.
William Buick held his mount up out the back on her return to Britain in the Dahlia Stakes, and Cinderella's Dream powered home to score by an emphatic margin. While she will stay a mile-and-a-quarter, Appleby's filly has more than enough speed for a mile and more than enough class to cope with a three-pound penalty.

5:00pm Ascot - Royal Hunt Cup Tips
Normally, horses drawn high have an advantage on the straight course at Ascot. However, there seems to be little pace drawn in the double-figure stalls this year, so it could pay to be drawn centrally or towards the low side of the track.
FOX LEGACY (12/1) was campaigned over 10 and 12 furlongs by Sir Michael Stoute, but made a lovely impression on his debut for Andrew Balding over nine. Oisin Murphy's mount tracked the leaders into contention in the Suffolk Stakes, before using his stamina to forge two lengths clear of a talented chasing pack.
Sisyphean and Silawi will look to make the running in stalls 13 and 14, and Murphy is positioned perfectly to latch onto their tails in stall 11. Stoute trained his horses to improve with age and Fox Legacy looked like he could take another step forwards when scoring on 2000 Guineas day.
I'm also going to back LA TRINIDAD (40/1), as he makes his Ascot debut at the ripe-old age of eight. Roger Fell's star might be one of the oldest runners in the field, but travels to Berkshire in good form, having finished strongly to place third in both the Thirsk Hunt Cup and the Hambleton Handicap at York.
Four of La Trindad's seven career wins have come on good-to-firm ground. Six of the seven have come in June or July and he's won on the straight tracks at both Redcar and Doncaster. The handicapper has refused to up La Trinidad's mark following that excellent third at York and Rowan Scott's mount contender is drawn nicely in stall 18.
5:35pm Ascot - Kensington Palace Stakes Tips
Four-year-olds have dominated the roll of honour since this fillies' handicap was introduced in 2021. However, I'm keen to back the five-year-old ROSE PRICK (20/1), who has gone close in several pattern races since a narrow handicap defeat over this course-and-distance last May.
Ed Walker's filly was beaten narrowly by Bellarchi that day, when giving 23 pounds to the winner at the weights. Since then, Rose Prick has run solely in Listed contests, earning black type with a third-place finish in a classy renewal of the Nottinghamshire Oaks on her most recent start in April.
Tom Marquand's mount seemed to relish the return to nicer ground at Nottingham and should have no trouble dropping back to a mile. She's my sole selection in a typically competitive handicap.
6:10pm Ascot - Windsor Castle Stakes Tips
I've picked out two to back at each-way prices in Wednesday's card-closing sprint, and both finished second on their debuts. UTMOST RESPECT (16/1) was fancied to score at York, but had to settle for second behind Ballistic Missile after enduring a torrid passage through the contest.
Oisin Orr's mount was keen along the inside rail and found his path into contention blocked a couple of times, but came home well once he eventually found room to snatch second place. Both his dam and his half-brother were winners over five furlongs as juveniles and Utmost Respect might have beaten a decent horse in Ballistic Missile if a gap had opened at the right time. He can take a big step forwards on Wednesday.
SOVEREIGN SPELL (25/1) enjoyed a much smoother passage through his debut at Newmarket during the Guineas Festival. Raphael Freire's newcomer travelled smartly and quickened to lead going into the dip, only to get run down by Charlie Appleby's Rising Power, who followed up in another novice next time out.
The third from that maiden has also won since, so it's clearly a decent bit of form. With David Egan riding Jan Steen, Rossa Ryan pulls on the Amo Racing silks again to ride Sovereign Spell who, like Utmost Respect, is entitled to improve following that taking debut.
