2025 Supreme Novices' Hurdle Entries

Willie Mullins often uses the Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle as his stepping stone to the Supreme at the Cheltenham Festival. Salvator Mundi, sixth in last year's Triumph Hurdle, claimed victory in that Grade Two at Punchestown and was immediately cut into favouritism for the Festival opener.

Gordon Elliott watched Romeo Coolio bounce back from defeat in the Royal Bond by winning the Grade One Novices' Hurdle at Leopardstown over Christmas and he'll head straight to the Supreme. As will Henry de Bromhead's Workahead, who showed plenty of gears when scoring in a maiden hurdle at the Leopardstown Christmas Festival.

Kopek Des Bordes and Kaid d'Authie will meet in the Grade One at the Dublin Racing Festival, after which their Cheltenham plans should be a little clearer. Willie Mullins could also run Moscow Flyer runner-up Kel Histoire, Kawaboomga, More Coko and Ballygunner Castle.

The New Lion tops the betting for the Turners' Novices' Hurdle, but could head to the shorter of the two races if the ground during Cheltenham Festival week comes up testing. Dan Skelton could also be represented by Royal Infantry, with Mister Meggit a possible runner for Jonjo and AJ O'Neill.

Other potential Supreme runners at this stage include Gordon Elliott's Bleu De Vassy, Nicky Henderson's French import Donwave, Sam Thomas' Celtic Dino, Regent's Stroll for Paul Nicholls and the last two winners of the Champion Bumper, Jasmin De Vaux and A Dream To Share.
