Following his lengthy defeat to Sir Gino at Kempton, Ballyburn now looks set on a tilt at the Brown Advisory. Willie Mullins' star won three Grade Ones as a novice hurdler, including the Turners' Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham, and on breeding he should be even more effective over three miles.

Willie Mullins accounts for 10 of the 32 entries for this Grade One. Ballyburn could be joined in the field by fellow Grade One winning hurdlers Dancing City, Impaire Et Passe and Champ Kiely. Ile Atlantique, Lecky Watson, Chapeau De Soleil and Quai de Bourbon have also been entered by the Champion Trainer.

The leading British hope is The Jukebox Man, who maintained his unbeaten start over fences by landing the Grade One Kauto Star Novices' Chase at Kempton. Jango Baie is a possible runner for Nicky Henderson, who could look to target the novices' handicap chase instead. Haiti Couleurs, Butch, Jingko Blue, Springwell Bay and The Changing Man have also been entered by home connections.

Martin Pipe winner, Better Days Ahead could lead the line for Gordon Elliott, who could be further represented by Grade One winner Croke Park, as well as Search For Glory, Shannon Royale and Stellar Story. Other possible runners on day two of the Cheltenham Festival include Gorgeous Tom, White Rhino, Lowrys Bar and The Changing Man.
