Final Demand was cut into odds-on for this Grade One after kicking his season off with two emphatic wins over fences. However, the betting for the Brown Advisory was blown wide open when Willie Mullins' star flopped at the Dublin Racing Festival, and Final Demand drifted out to 4/1 following that 12-length defeat.

Kaid d'Authie outjumped his stablemate to win that Grade One, and shot up to second in the Cheltenham betting. The Big Westerner now rivals Final Demand for favouritism too, following her Grade Two win at Limerick over Christmas.

Gordon Elliott still hasn't decided where he'll run Romeo Coolio at the Cheltenham Festival, but the Brown Advisory seems to be his preferred target. Two-time Grade One placer Western Fold could also represent Elliott. Leopardstown Christmas winner, Koktail Divin will join stablemate The Big Westerner in the field.

Jamie Snowden will be represented by John Francome winner Wendigo. Kauto Star winner Kitzbuhel is another possible runner for Willie Mullins. Connor King's star Oscars Brother, Scilly Isles winner Sixmilebridge, and Gary Moore's Salver also feature in the ante-post betting.
