Unexpected Party came from the clouds to beat Libberty Hunter in last year's Grand Annual. Dan Skelton's chaser will return to defend his crown after a low-key season running in top Graded races. Libberty Hunter hacked up in a handicap at Cheltenham earlier in the autumn and currently tops the Grand National market.

Dan Skelton could also be represented by Madara, but the Plate could be his target after a narrow defeat in the December Gold Cup. Gavin Cromwell could be represented by The King Of Prs, following his two victories in Irish handicaps this season, and last year's third Path d'Oroux.

Gordon Elliott would need to get another run into Firefox to qualify his novice from the Grand Annual. Farren Glory will likely revert back to hurdles after struggling in novice chases. 2023 Fred Winter winner, Jazzy Matty could represent Ireland on day two of the Cheltenham Festival, along with Dublin Racing Festival winner An Peann Dearg.

Haldon Gold Cup winner, JPR One could drop back into handicap company at the Festival. As could last year's Arkle fourth Matata. Caldwell Potter, Down Memory Lane, Master Chewy and The Folkes Tiara also feature in the market.
