50 days after the British equivalent took place at Epsom, some of the sport's top fillies will battle it out in the Irish Oaks this weekend. As with all of the Classics in Britain and Ireland, Aidan O'Brien's record in the Irish Oaks is excellent and it's no surprise to see his recent Royal Ascot winner topping the market.

Here's the latest Irish Oaks betting and a look through the most likely runners.

2024 Irish Oaks Entries

After Epsom Oaks winner Ezeliya was forced into retirement through injury, Aidan O'Brien's Ribblesdale Stakes winner Port Fairy jumped to the head of the Irish Oaks market. The springer in the betting has been Willie Mullins' filly Lope De Lilas, who was snapped up by Wathnan Racing after an impressive maiden win at Leopardstown in May.

Aidan O'Brien has handed further entries to Content, Opera Singer, Ylang Ylang, Rubies Are Red and Greenfinch. Noel Meade could be represented by Epsom Oaks fifth Caught U Looking. Purple Lily is a possible runner for Paddy Twomey.

Two fillies were supplemented into the contest on Tuesday. David O'Meara's Ribblesdale runner-up, Lava Stream entered the betting at 10/1. Johnny Murtagh's recent Listed winner, Hanalia was also added to the field by owners the Aga Khan.

War Chimes, third behind Ezeliya at Epsom, has been entered by David Menuisier. Roger Varian's Ejaabiyah could make the journey over from the UK. Ralph Beckett holds a number of entries, with You Got To Me, Classical Song and Forest Fairy all potential runners.

French trainer, Gavin Heron has handed an entry to Dare To Dream, who was last seen finishing fifth in the Prix de Diane. Prix de la Seine winner, Gala Real could also make the journey over from France.

Charlie Appleby could be represented by Dance Sequence and Diamond Rain. Karl Burke has entered Irish 1000 Guineas winner Fallen Angel and German Guineas winner Darnation. Other potential Irish Oaks runners include Galileo Dame for Joseph O'Brien, Dermot Weld's Red Viburnum, Sea Just In Time for William Haggas, and Jessica Harrington's Sea The Boss.
