Race 1 - SAY A PRAYER (5)
SAY A PRAYER produced a creditable debut effort over 1200m on the turf. The daughter of Real Gone Kid showed signs of needing the outing and she would have gained from the experience. The drop to 1000m may suit her well and if taking to the polytrack, she may be the one to beat.
Race 2 - RULES OF CONDUCT (6)
RULES OF CONDUCT was a beaten odds-on favourite over 1200m on this course last time. He was his own worst enemy that day as he over raced in the early stages. The son of Buffalo Bill Cody is a progressive type. If Richard Fourie is able to switch him off early, he can shed his maiden tag in this field.
Race 3 - OSMIUM (3)
OSMIUM finished 0.5 lengths behind SATELLITE WORLD last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. Chase Maujean retains the ride and if confirming his recent improvement, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
Race 5 - KEY WORKER (7)
KEY WORKER ran a creditable race when 1.05 lengths behind EPIKLEROS last time. She is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight has won over this distance previously. She should get a good run in transit from barrier two and can notch up her fourth-career victory.
Race 6 - DUPONT EMERALD (3)
DUPONT EMERALD moved up well over 1400m on the turf last time, but found one too good in the form of La Landonne who has come out and won again since. The daughter of Querari receives her sex allowance and with luck in running, she can go one better.
