MEEKSHA produced a promising debut effort over this distance on the turf. The manner in which she stayed on at the finish was encouraging. The daughter of Rafeef would have gained from the experience and if taking to the polytrack, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.
Race 2 - PUTTHELIGHTSOUT (7)
PUTTHELIGHTSOUT found one too good in the form of Vibe Check last time. The son of Gimmethegreenlight is a progressive type and should love the rise to the mile. If taking to the polytrack, he may be the one to beat.
Race 4 - MS GALORE (5)
MS GALORE stayed on at the finish over 1900m on this course last time. The daughter of Bezrin will love the rise to 2000m. She takes a drop in class and from her handy draw of five, she can return to winning ways.
Race 6 - ICE RAIN (6)
ICE RAIN ran on strongly when second over 1500m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. She cost herself winning that day as she hung inwards in the final 400m. The daughter of Vercingetorix is unbeaten from two starts over this C&D. Apprentice Dezahn Louw takes the 2.5kgs off her back and if keeping on a straight line, she may be the one to beat.
Race 8 - HEAVEN’S WILL (8)
HEAVEN’S WILL has shown good signs of a form return in his last two starts. He raced from a handy position over this C&D last time and tried hard all the way to the line. With luck in running, he can return to winning ways in this line-up.
