The 2026 Yorkshire Oaks, a headline event of York's Ebor Festival, promises a thrilling contest as seasoned older mares and talented three-year-olds compete together. Kalpana, after her impressive win at Ascot, leads the betting at 3/1. Estrange and Minnie Hauk, last year’s top finishers, are set for a potential rematch, while Johanna Walsh and Sunly also feature among the key entries. With a highly competitive field and strong three-year-old representation, the race is shaping up to be the highlight of the festival.

The second day of York's Ebor Festival is headlined by the Yorkshire Oaks. Unlike the Epsom and Irish Oaks, older horses can take on the three-year-olds in this Group One, and it's this season's leading older mare who currently tops the betting.

Let's take a look through the latest Yorkshire Oaks betting and run through the headline entries.

Kalpana claimed the biggest win of her career when beating Calandagan in the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot last month. Andrew Balding said after that victory that York could still be on her agenda, and most bookmakers make Kalpana their clear favourite.

Last year's top two could clash again. Minnie Hauk got the better of Estrange, before going on to finish a close second in the Arc. Estrange has since claimed her first Group One win in the Pretty Polly Stakes, and sits ahead of Aidan O'Brien's defending champion in the current market.

Runaway Irish Oaks winner Johanna Walsh could represent Joseph O'Brien. Francis Graffard has handed an entry to Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud third Sunly. Ralph Beckett's emphatic Lancashire Oaks winner Tattycoram could step into Group One company for the first time at the Ebor Festival.

Diamond Necklace is unlikely to take up her entry. Irish Oaks runner-up Inis Mor and Ribblesdale Stakes winner Earth Shot could bolster the three-year-old contingent. Paddy Twomey's Moody, Charlie Appleby's Diamond Rain and Jim Bolger's progressive filly Sparan Nua also feature in the entries.
