Harry Fry could have found easier assignments for MR ONE MORE, as he made his chase debut on the back of a 20-month absence. Instead, Fry threw his eight-year-old in with Antunes, Lieutenant Rocco and I Can't Explain in an Intermediate Chase at Chepstow.
The 14/1 outsider of the bunch seemed to be flagging as the field turned for home, but Richie McLernon's mount kept on finding down the home straight. If it wasn't for a slightly dodgy jump at the last, Mr One More may even have run down Antunes, who was tying up a little as the line approached.
Before his enforced absence, Mr One More had beaten that season's Supreme Novices' Hurdle winner, Summerville Boy at Stratford, and another future Grade One winner in Lalor at Ascot. I'm sure this step up in trip will suit, and Fry's charge remains six-pounds lower than the mark he reached over hurdles.
Race 2 - Kauto Star Novices' Chase Tips
Shan Blue's jumping has been electric since making the switch to fences, and he deservedly leads the way in the betting. The Big Breakaway has to bounce back from that disappointing defeat at Exeter, while If The Cap Fits, Enrilo and One For The Team are not without their supporters in this fascinating Grade One.

Top-weight didn't stop Top Ville Ben or Lake View Lad from winning this race in recent years, and I think SPIRITOFTHEGAMES can hand Dan Skelton his second victory in this staying handicap.
Skelton's eight-year-old has finished second the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup, the Cheltenham Trophy on New Years Day, and the Paddy Power Gold Cup in the last 13 months. Spiritofthegames also stayed on for sixth in the Brown Advisory Plate at the Cheltenham Festival, having been held up off the pace by Bridget Andrews.
After a superb return this term, I was expecting Skelton to go back for the Caspian Caviar. Yet, he's deemed this the perfect opportunity to step Spiritofthegames up to three miles, and I think he's really going to take to this trip.
Andrews' mount had run up to RPRs between 151 and 154 on all of his last four starts. If he can run up to a similar level here, then he'll take all the beating.
Race 4 - Christmas Hurdle Tips
Epatante carries an extremely short price into battle, as she bids to retain her Christmas Hurdle crown. Silver Streak and Ballyandy placed behind Nicky Henderson's Champion Hurdler here last year, and they return for another crack at the queen of Kempton Park.
See whether we're siding with or against Epatante in our guide to the 2020 Christmas Hurdle.
Race 5 - King George VI Chase Tips
Four horses rated north of 170 will clash in this classy renewal of the King George. Clan Des Obeaux is edging the battle for favouritism with stablemate Cyrname, as he bids to seal a hat-trick of victories in this historic Grade One.
