Following on from a thrilling Boxing Day, ITV fans have got eight strong races to enjoy on Friday afternoon. The Wayward Lad Novices' Chase headlines the final day of Kempton's Christmas Festival, as Chepstow stages their popular Welsh Grand National meeting.

I'm going to chance my arm with PAINT THE DREAM (20/1), who shaped well for much of his comeback run at Cheltenham. David Brace's ten-year-old was returning from a 650-day absence and made eye-catching progress in-between the third and second-last, only to fade rapidly once the leaders hit Cleeve Hill.
Four starts ago, Paint The Dream clocked an RPR of 164 when bolting up under 12-00 at Newbury. Connor Brace's mount enters this race running off a much-reduced mark of 145 and if he's come on for that effort at Cheltenham, he's more than capable of challenging.

Nothing stands out to me again the vulnerable favourite, West Balboa. I'll leave this one alone.
1:40pm Chepstow - Finale Juvenile Hurdle Tips
Nietzsche Has makes the trip over from France and on all known form, he's a worthy favourite. However, at an each-way price, I'll give another chance to MY NOBLE LORD (22/1), who was backed into 6/1 ahead of the Triumph Trial at Cheltenham November Meeting.
Oliver Greenall & Josh Guerriero's juvenile went into that contest on the back of a maiden hurdle win here at Chepstow, but jumped violently left throughout that Grade Two and could muster no response when East India Dock set off for home. Jonjo Jnr's mount was rated 83 on the flat for Michael Bell and the double G's have had 40 days to iron out those jumping errors.
1:55pm Kempton - Wayward Lad Novices' Chase Tips
We've now got a mouth-watering four-horse clash in the Wayward Lad. Ballyburn travels over from Ireland, having jumped well when scoring on his chasing debut at Punchestown. Rubaud makes his chasing debut in this contest and Paul Nicholls has always said that this 149-rated hurdler was going to be better over fences.
Fighting Fifth winner, SIR GINO (5/4) will also make his chasing bow in this Grade Two. Nicky Henderson's star won the Grade One for juveniles at Aintree in the spring, and trounced his elders up at Newcastle, despite running off level weights.
Henderson had been delighted with Sir Gino's schooling over fences before that late switch to the Fighting Fifth. Now over fences, Nico de Boinville's mount will get six pounds from Ballyburn, who I'm convinced wants further than the minimum distance. I can't wait to see whether Sir Gino is a geniune Arkle contender.
2:10pm Chepstow - Handicap Hurdle Tips
You've got to give a very good chance to WOODIE FLASH (3/1), who bolted up on his seasonal reappearance at Ffos Las. Sean Bowen held his mount up for much of his last start at Newbury and had Hermino in his crosshairs approaching the last, but the favourite pecked on landing, allowing the leader to extend his advantage, and Woodie Flash's late burst was only good enough for second.
Olly Murphy's six-year-old was put up another five pounds for that runner-up effort, meaning he'll shoulder 12-00 on Friday. However, only the outsiders will carry less than 11-05, so the favourite won't have to give a significant amount of weight to any of his main rivals. With the track and ground to suit, Woodie Flash can go in again.

I'm happy to give another chance to EDWARDSTONE (7/2), who'll carry top-weight into this Limited Handicap. Alan King's star ran well on his comeback behind Jonbon at Cheltenham and took a tumble at the fourth fence when last seen running in the Tingle Creek.
King's ten-year-old has only managed one victory in his last 11 starts and has fallen twice in the past seven months. Yet, Edwardstone remains a very classy chaser and could be rejuvenated on his first start in handicap company over fences.
One who looks overpriced in Friday's finale is BEACHCOMBER (14/1) for the O'Neill's. Jonjo and AJ's six-year-old was pulled up on his most third start over fences at Cheltenham two weeks ago, where he jumped right and weakened quickly over that 25-and-a-half furlong trip.
Beachcomber did all of his winning over hurdles going right-handed and ran a cracker on his second chasing start at Exeter in November, when following feature winner Tightenourbelts home off this very mark. Richie McLernon's mount remains unexposed as a chaser and Friday's conditions should be ideal.
