Glorious Goodwood rolls into its second day on Wednesday, with the Sussex Stakes headlining another excellent card. ITV viewers will enjoy two further pattern races on day two, along with an intriguing three-year-old handicap.

Here are my best betting tips for Wednesday's ITV races.

ITV Racing Tips - Wednesday 31st July

1:50pm Goodwood - Shaker Handicap Tips

Fitri Hay will have three runners baring her colours in Wednesday's opener. The best of her trio is undoubtedly the Coolmore-bred SUBSEQUENT (9/2), who'll be looking to complete a hat-trick following wins at Haydock and Salisbury.

After a narrow defeat to Master Builder on his second maiden start, Oisin Murphy's mount ran out a ready winner at Haydock in June. Three weeks later, Subsequent made a winning handicap debut at Salisbury, where he saw out a mile-and-a-half strongly to claim a hard-fought victory.

The runner-up that day, Spaceport has since struck in a hot handicap at Sandown, making the seven-pound rise that Subsequent received look fair. Murphy's mount has secured both of his wins on good-to-firm ground, and carrying 9-8 shouldn't bother this strapping son of Galileo.

2:25pm Goodwood - Oak Tree Stakes Tips

One of the most interesting runners in this year's Oak Tree is RAQIYA (13/2), who progressed nicely as a juvenile and kicked off this year with a cosy victory in the Listed Cathedral Stakes.

Owen Burrow's filly was held up on her most recent outing in the Summer Stakes at York, hitting the line just two lengths adrift of Flora Of Bermuda in sixth.

Burrows has withdrawn Raqiya on account of soft ground a couple of times. This is the first time that she's encountered ground on the fast side of good, conditions she presumably wants, and this step up to seven furlongs could bring about further improvement.

3:00pm Goodwood - Molecomb Stakes Tips

A huge field of 16 runners has been declared for this juvenile contest. One that I like at a lengthy price is ARRAN (33/1), who made a winning debut in an excellent five-furlong maiden at Newbury back in April.

Paul and Oliver Cole, who love a winner at Goodwood, stepped Arran up in trip for the Coventry at Royal Ascot. David Probert's mount was very keen when breaking from the widest stall of all, before checking out tamely in the final furlong of that Group Two.

Dropping back down in trip seems like a sensible move and a tongue-tie goes on for the first time. At 33/1, Arran represents decent value.
