2025 Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle Entries

The likely favourite for this year's Albert Bartlett is Willie Mullins' Final Demand, who will put his unbeaten record on the line in the Nathaniel Lacy at the Dublin Racing Festival. The Yellow Clay currently heads the ante-post market, but Gordon Elliott has said that his Grade One winner is being aimed at the Turners' Novices' Hurdle instead.

Henry De Bromhead will be represented by The Big Westerner, who ran out an impressive winner of the Grade Two at Limerick over Christmas. David Cottin has handed an entry to Jet Blue, who destroyed his British rivals when scoring in the Bristol Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham in December.

The leading British contender could be Jax Junior, who has won his last two novice hurdles starts by a combined distance of 27 lengths. Paul Nicholls has handed an entry to Ascot maiden winner Belliano. Winter Novices' Hurdle winner, Bill Joyce has been given the three-mile option by Jonjo & AJ O'Neill. Ben Pauling's Jig's Forge and Kim Bailey's Moon Rocket also feature in the entries.

Along with Final Demand, Willie Mullins has handed entries to Fishery Lane, Sounds Victorious, Supasundae and C'Est Ta Chance. Gordon Elliott had entered Wingmen, Bleu De Vassy and Minella Sixo. Other possible runners for Ireland on day four of the Cheltenham Festival include
Desmond Kenneally's Grade Three winner Pray Tell, Mozzies Sister for Declan Queally, and I Am Lorenzo for Gavin Cromwell.
