2023 County Hurdle Odds and Entries - Filey Bay leads Hunters Yarn in the betting

Here's a look through the current County Hurdle betting and a rundown of the most likely runners.

Emmet Mullins' raider, Filey Bay tops the ante-post betting for the County Hurdle, despite an eight-pound rise for that runner-up finish in the Betfair Hurdle last time out. Willie Mullins often wins this race with a novice and it's his Supreme entrant, Hunters Yarn who sits second in the market.

Willie Mullins has also handed entries to Il Etait Temps, Sharjah, Winter Fog and Saint Sam. Like Sharjah, Gordon Elliott's Pied Piper may drop down into the County Hurdle, rather than taking up his Champion Hurdle entry.

Like Willie Mullins, Dan Skelton boasts a strong record in this handicap and he could throw promising novice Pembroke into the mix. Harry Fry's Greatwood Hurdle runner-up, Gin Coco sits prominently in the market, as does Gavin Cromwell's novice Path D'oroux.

Other likely runners on day four of the Cheltenham Festival include John McConnell's Fennor Cross, Gordon Elliott's Fil Dor and last year's runner-up, First Street. Ballyadam, Petit Tonnerre, Hacker Des Places and Soul Icon could also take up their entries.
