2025 Mares' Chase Entries

Limerick Lace was heavily backed on the day of the Mares' Chase and subsequently ran out an impressive winner, beating favourite Dinoblue. The latter tops the betting for this year's renewal, despite disappointing on both of her starts this season, but Limerick Lace is fairly unfancied after struggling on all of her starts since.

2023 winner, Impervious sits prominently in the market, but hasn't been seen since following up at the Punchestown Festival that season. Allegorie De Vassy could return for a third crack at the Mares' Chase, having finished second and fourth in the two previous renewals.

Gavin Cromwell could run two of his best novices in this Grade Two. Bioluminescence tops the market with some firms, having run Dancing City close in Grade Three company at Naas. Only By Night is two-from-two over fences and also holds an entry in the Arkle on day one of the Cheltenham Festival.

Fun Fun Fun looked good when scoring on her chasing debut and could take on her elders on Gold Cup day. Willie Mullins could also be represented by fellow novice Spindleberry and Grade Two runner-up Paggane.

Two-time Listed winner, Marsh Wren could represent Stuart Edmunds, having finished third to Limerick Lace 12 months ago. Other possible runners include Dan Skelton's Cherie D'Am, La Renommee for Dr Newland and Jamie Insole, and impressive Ascot handicap winner, Terresita.
