Gold Cup day at Cheltenham begins with the Triumph Hurdle. Willie Mullins has dominated this juvenile contest in recent years, winning four of the last five renewals, but it's Britain's top two four-year-olds who top the betting for the 2025 edition.

Here's the latest Triumph Hurdle betting and a look at the most likely runners.

The new favourite to win the opener on Gold Cup day is Lulamba. Nicky Henderson's star came in for significant support in the Cheltenham betting ahead of his intended British debut. Fans had to wait until Clarence House day to see Henderson's French recruit in action, but Lulamba put on a power-packed display to win comfortably and was immediately shortened into 7/4 favouritism for the Triumph.

James Owen's East India Dock had been thrust into Cheltenham Festival favouritism earlier in the season, following his impressive victory in the Triumph Trial at Cheltenham's November Meeting. Another expensive Nicky Henderson recruit, Palladium still sits prominently in the betting and could shorten if successful on his upcoming hurdles debut.

Gavin Cromwell watched Hello Neighbour make a winning start over hurdles at Leopardstown over Christmas, where he beat Lady Vega Allen in the Grade Two Juvenile Hurdle. Willie Mullins' Saint Lucie looked smart when scoring at Punchestown just after Christmas and she, along with the runner-up at Christmas, will meet Hello Neighbour in the Spring Juvenile Hurdle at the Dublin Racing Festival.

Mondo Man, an expensive purchase for Gary Moore, was no match for Lulamba at Ascot but was still cut into 25/1 for the Cheltenham Festival. Willie Mullins' Charlus and Paul Nicholls' Sauvignon also sit prominently in the betting, despite neither having run on British or Irish soil this season.

Other potential runners on Gold Cup day include Jack Jones' Cheltenham winner Teriferma, Francois Nicolle's Grade Three winner Olympic Story, and Dan Skelton's French recruit Live Conti.
