The opening day of the Cheltenham Festival is headlined by the Champion Hurdle. Constitution Hill produced a stunning performance to win the 2023 Champion Hurdle by nine lengths and Nicky Henderson's star is the early favourite to defend his crown in 2024.

2024 Champion Hurdle Entries
Constitution Hill is currently the 5/4 favourite to register back-to-back, but there is a chance that owner, Michael Buckley could send his stable star over fences next year.
Leading the charge against the favourite is Impaire Et Passe, who bolted up in the Ballymore at Cheltenham in 2023. Supreme Novices' Hurdle winner, Marine Nationale sits prominently in the market, along with Triumph Hurdle winner Lossiemouth.
The second and fourth from this year's Champion Hurdle, State Man and Vauban could return to Tuesday's Championship race in 2024. Facile Vega, Diverge and Il Etait Temps all ran in the Supreme at this year's Festival and could be campaigned as Champion Hurdle horses next season.
Other notable names in the 2024 Cheltenham Festival betting include beaten Mares' Novices' Hurdle favourite Luccia, Willie Mullins' Gaelic Warrior and Nigel Twiston-Davies' I Like To Move It.
