2021 Champion Hurdle Odds - Favourite Honeysuckle could face 14 challengers

The feature championship race on the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival is the Champion Hurdle. This Grade One has been won by many superstars of the sport, and it's unbeaten mare Honeysuckle who's risen to the top of the market.

Honeysuckle retained her Irish Champion Hurdle crown in brilliant fashion last time out. Henry De Bromhead's mare is the 9/4 favourite to win the Champion Hurdle with Unibet, with last year's queen of Cheltenham, Epatante the 3/1 second-favourite.

Goshen bounded back into the Champion Hurdle picture at Wincanton, and Gary Moore's star will fly the flag for Britain on day one of the Cheltenham Festival.

Abacadabras and Sharjah could renew rivalries with Honeysuckle in the Champion Hurdle. Henry De Bromhead has three arrows to fire at this prize, with Aspire Tower and Jason The Militant likely to join Honeysuckle in the final field.

James Du Berlais could make his first start for Willie Mullins on this grandest of stages. Saldier and Petit Mouchoir could also run in the Champion Hurdle.
