The seventh and final race on the opening Tuesday at the Cheltenham Festival is the National Hunt Chase. This historic race only holds Grade Two status, but it's a horse who still holds entry in the Gold Cup who tops the current betting.

Connections are still said to be undecided as to whether Royal Pagaille will run in the National Hunt Chase or the Gold Cup. After he remained in the entries at the seven-day stage, Venetia Williams' star shortened into 6/4 favouritism for the former four-miler.
Galvin will have his first start for Ian Ferguson in the National Hunt Chase, while Denise Foster is set to saddle Galvin's former stablemate, Escaria Ten.
Willie Mullins' Lord Royal has been well-backed for the National Hunt in recent days. Coko Beach and Run Wild Fred have been handed an entry, but both look set for tilts at various handicaps.
Next Destination and Soldier Of Love could represent Paul Nicholls. Show Leopardess is a dangerous outsider for Charlie Longsdon, while Ofalltheginjoints, Eden De Houx, Nestor Park and The Mighty Don could fly the flag for Britain on day one of the Cheltenham Festival.
