2025 National Hunt Chase Entries

The early favourite for this historic contest is Now Is The Hour, who ran out an 17-length winner of the Prestige Novices' Hurdle at Haydock in February. Gavin Cromwell ran his star over fences before last season ended and has clocked up three quiet runs this season, finishing fourth behind Three Card Brag on his most recent outing at Navan.

Haiti Couleurs claimed an emphatic victory at Aintree in November before winning on his third chasing start around Cheltenham. Transmission won an amateur's race under Patrick Mullins at Cheltenham in November before finishing second to Haiti Couleurs in December. The two look set to renew their rivalry in the National Hunt Chase.

Deafening Silence is yet to win in three starts over fences, but Dan Skelton's eight-year-old still sits prominently in this betting heat. Nicky Henderson's Hyland and Johnnywho for the O'Neill family are other possible home runners on day one of the Cheltenham Festival.

Gordon Elliott has a raft of potential runners, including Shannon Royale, Search For Glory and Cleatus Poolaw. Willie Mullins could be represented by Sa Majeste and Captain Cody, both of whom have had the requisite three starts over fences. Answer To Kayf, Mossy Fen Park, White Rhino and Butch also feature in the betting.
