The Ryanair Chase, a championship race at the Cheltenham Festival, has an exciting lineup this year. Last year's victor, Envoi Allen, has performed admirably in several races despite not clinching a win and is considered a top contender. Banbridge is currently favourite with odds at 5/2, closely followed by Envoi Allen at 4/1. Other horses to watch are Stage Star, Conflated and Capodanno.

The unofficial fifth championship race at the Cheltenham Festival is the Ryanair Chase. Envoi Allen took advantage of an error-strewn showing from Shishkin to win this race 12 months ago and Henry De Bromhead's star is one of the fancied runners for this year's renewal.

Here's the latest Ryanair Chase betting and a look at the most likely runners.

2024 Ryanair Chase Entries

Since claiming his third Cheltenham Festival win 12 months ago, Envoi Allen has run well in defeat on several occasions, most recently behind Gerri Colombe in the Ladbrokes Champion Chase at Down Royal. Rachael Blackmore's mount currently sits second in the market behind Banbridge, who claimed Grade One glory as a novice last season and scored in the Silviniaco Conti Chase on his only start so far this season.

Turners' Novices' Chase winner, Stage Star will be bidding to bounce back after a poor showing at Cheltenham on New Year's Day. Gordon Elliott has handed an entry to Conflated, but he looks more likely to run in the Cross Country Chase before heading on to the Grand National.

Cotswold Chase winner, Capodanno will also run in this shorter race before heading on to Aintree. He's one of four possible runners for Willie Mullins, along with Appreciate It, Classic Getaway and Janidil.

Fastorslow, Ahoy Senor, Jungle Boogie and Protektorat have been entered in the Ryanair Chase as well as the Gold Cup. Other likely runners in the second Grade One on day three of the Cheltenham Festival include December Gold Cup winner Fugitif, Paul Nicholls' Hitman, Plate Handicap winner Seddon, Gordon Elliott's duo of Ash Tree Meadow and Fil Dor.
