Leading the way in the Ballymore betting is Paul Nicholls' Hermes Allen, who was cut into favouritism following a bloodless victory in the Challow Hurdle at Newbury after Christmas. The favourite has four Willie Mullins' runners lurking behind him in the betting, with Impaire Et Passe, Gaelic Warrior, Champ Kiely and even Supreme favourite, Facile Vega available at prices shorter than 10/1.

Barry Connell's Good Land sits prominently in the Ballymore betting, as does Henry De Bromhead's Inthepocket. Gordon Elliott has handed entries to three of his top novices, Irish Point, American Mike and Favori De Champdou.

Henri The Second could join stablemate Hermes Allen in the opener on day two of the Cheltenham Festival. Dan Skelton has entered up Leamington Novices' Hurdle winner, Grey Dawning and two-time maiden winner, Pembroke. Charlie Longsdon has given Rare Edition the option of the Ballymore, along with his Supreme entry.

Other possible runners in the Ballymore include Nicky Henderson's Jet Powered, Weveallbeencaught for the Twiston-Davies team, Joseph O'Brien's Dawn Rising and Gary Moore's duo of Givega and Authorised Speed.
