2023 Dublin Racing Festival Tips - 60/1 Willie Mullins Acca

30 races have taken place during the last two editions of the Dublin Racing Festival. Willie Mullins has won over half of them. Of the 19 non-handicap races staged during that time, Mullins' strike-rate rises to almost 75%, with only Quilixios, Conflated, Lilly Du Berlais and Honeysuckle (twice) thwarting Ireland's Champion Trainer at the highest level.

Galopin Des Champs is 4/11 to hand Mullins another victory in the Irish Gold Cup, while Lossiemouth, Facile Vega and Blue Lord are priced similarly to win their respective Grade One races. Here are four more of Willie Mullins' runners who could strike at the Dublin Racing Festival.

Mullins could have as many as five runners in this Grade One and a wave of support has arrived for Appreciate It in recent days. Another of Willie's entrants who will definitely run is DYSART DYNAMO and I'd fancy him to beat Appreciate It, should the stablemates take each other on around this speedy track.

Dysart Dynamo settled much better on his chase debut than he ever did over hurdles. Paul Townend's mount galloped his rivals into submission without ever really being asked a question and he could use that high cruising speed to put his rivals to the sword on Saturday.

JAMES DU BERLAIS looks like to carry Willie's hopes in this 2m5f contest and there's no doubt he has the ability to see off market-leader, Mighty Potter.

This former French star couldn't have been much more impressive when winning on his chase debut, scoring by 15 lengths having spent 18 months on the sidelines. Mullins has always held James Du Berlais in the highest regard and if he's improved again for that return run, he could be more than a match for the favourite.

Having been beaten into third by two top-quality rivals in the Hatton's Grace, Honeysuckle will return to Leopardstown looking for redemption. That being said, she'll need to have improved considerably to see off STATE MAN in the Irish Champion Hurdle, who would be long odds-on for the Champion Hurdle if a certain Constitution Hill wasn't around.

Willie Mullins' star has now collected three Grade Ones since that runaway victory in the County Hurdle at Cheltenham. Vauban and Sharjah couldn't lay a glove on Paul Townend's mount over Christmas and I expect State Man will see off Honeysuckle in a similar manner.

Mares' bumpers are usually bread and butter for Willie Mullins, so it was a huge surprise none of his six runners even hit the frame in this race 12 months ago. Ireland's Champion Trainer could fire just two arrows at this prize on Sunday, with Patrick Mullins almost certain to ride FANCY GIRL.

A point-to-point winner at Ballyraget back in March, Fancy Girl made a pleasing debut under rules at Cork in January, making all the running to return a price of 8/11. The weather at Cork was fairly deplorable that day and this daughter of Champ Elysees is bred to do her best work on better ground. She should take plenty of beating.
