Two talented mares top the betting for Sunday's main event at Leopardstown. Lossiemouth returned to action with a win in the Hatton's Grace, before losing out to Constitution Hill in the Christmas Hurdle at Leopardstown.

Brighterdaysahead, meanwhile, has fuelled her own Champion Hurdle claims with victories in the Morgiana Hurdle and the Savills Hurdle over Christmas. Gordon Elliott did state after that 30-length romp that they would be heading straight to Cheltenham, but the fact that he's entered Brighterdaysahead at the Dublin Racing Festival suggests there might have been a change of heart.

State Man will be looking to bounce back to form, having seen his winning run shattered by Brighterdaysahead this term. Willie Mullins and the Donnellys could also be represented by Anzadam, who bolted up in the 4YO Hurdle at Fairyhouse when last seen in November.

Willie Mullins has entered 2024 Champion Four-Year-Old winner Kargese, who hasn't been seen since that Grade One win at the Punchestown Festival. Winter Fog and Daddy Long Legs could also represent the Champion Trainer.

Fergal O'Brien has handed a surprise entry to his seven-year-old mare Dysart Enos. Colonel Mustard could represent Lorna Fowler. Other potential runners include Vincent Halley's Senecia, and Gordon Elliott's duo of Fils d'Oudairies and King Of Kingsfield.
