Easter Monday means just one thing for Irish horse racing fans, Irish Grand National day. This year, the Irish National will take place six days before the British Grand National, meaning it's highly unlikely that we'll see any horse feature in both races - unless there's a high-profile early exit at Fairyhouse.

Let's take a look through the latest Irish Grand National betting and run through the headline entries.

2026 Irish Grand National Entries

Novices boast a strong recent record in the Irish equivalent of the Grand National. Haiti Couleurs brought the trophy back to the UK last season, and it's another raider who heads this year's market, after Ben Pauling's Reynoldstown winner The Jukebox Kid was backed into favouritism.

Willie Mullins is looking to chase Gordon Elliott down at the head of the Champion Trainer standings in Ireland, and looks set to field a strong squad. Brown Advisory Novices' Chase eighth Argento Boy will likely be ridden by Paul Townend, with JJ Slevin set to partner with C'Est Ta Chance. Kiss Will, Quai De Bourbon, Spindleberry and Sa Majeste could also feature in Mullins' squad.

Robert Tyner still needs a couple to drop out in order for Porterstown Handicap winner, Better Times Ahead to get a run. JP McManus' colours could also be carried by a couple of Listed winners, with Ciaran Murphy's Goraibhmaithagat and Jonathan Sweeney's Showurappreciation also featuring in the betting.

Better Days Ahead will likely shoulder top-weight once Stellar Story and Lecky Watson are declared for the British Grand National. Search For Glory and Kurasso Blue have also been entered by Elliott, with Stumptown and The Lovely Man potential runners for Gordon Elliott.

Emmet Mullins' novice, Soldier In Milan sits prominently in the betting. As does Nicky Henderson's National Hunt Chase winner Holloway Queen. Other likely runners include Lookaway for Neil King, James Owen's One Big Bang, and Kim Roque for Joseph O'Brien.
