50 days after the British equivalent took place at Epsom, some of the sport's top fillies will battle it out in the Irish Oaks this weekend. As with all of the Classics in Britain and Ireland, Aidan O'Brien's record in the Irish Oaks is excellent and it's no surprise to see his top filly dominating the market.

2023 Irish Oaks Entries

Savethelastdance announced her arrival in the Classic scene at Chester in May, running away with the Chester Vase. Aidan O'Brien's filly was narrowly beaten by Soul Sister in the Epsom Oaks, but that's comfortably the best piece of form on offer and most bookies list Ryan Moore's mount as the odds-on favourite.

O'Brien and Ballydoyle could have as many as five runners in Saturday's Classic, with Ribblesdale winner Warm Heart sitting closest to her market-topping stablemate. Be Happy hasn't been seen since her runner-up finish in the Oaks Trial at Epsom. Library and Lambada also feature in the betting.

Lumiere Rock followed Warm Heart home in the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot and Joseph O'Brien's filly could step up to Group One company for the first time. As could Ralph Beckett's Bluestocking, who stayed on from off the pace to finish third in the Ribblesdale.

Dermot Weld could drop Azazat back in with her own age group, following an excellent second in the Munster Oaks last time out. Irish 1000 Guineas third, Comhra is the ninth and final entrant.
