The overwhelming favourite to win the Irish Oaks this weekend is Savethelastdance.

Aidan O'Brien's filly announced herself on the Classic stage at Chester's May Festival. Despite looking in-season before the off, Ryan Moore's mount produced a power-packed display in the Chester Oaks, thrashing her rivals by a whopping 22-lengths.

Savethelastdance then carried a short price into the Epsom Oaks 50 days ago. Ryan Moore's mount was beaten by Soul Sister on the day, but O'Brien's filly lost nothing in defeat as she finished second ahead of Caernarfon.

Savethelastdance will carry the number eight saddle cloth number in Saturday's Classic feature. Ryan Moore's mount will wear the famous dark blue silks of owners Mrs John Magnier, Michael Tabor, Derrick Smith and Westerberg.
