Shaquille July Cup 2023 odds

Leading the way in the betting for Saturday's July Cup is Julie Camacho's Shaquille, who's enjoyed a superb three-year-old campaign so far.

Shaquille went into the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot on the back of an impressive Listed success at Newbury. Oisin Murphy's star couldn't have gotten off to a worse start on his Group One debut, missing the break and giving the field a six-length headstart. Having worked his way back into the race, Shaquille turned on the afterburners in the closing stages and ran out a comfortable winner.

With Oisin Murphy out due to suspension, James Doyle - who rode Camacho's star on his first two starts this season, could return to the saddle on Saturday.

Shaquille will wear the number ten saddle cloth number on Saturday and break out of stall nine. Doyle will be wearing the pink and white silks of owners Hughes, Rawlings and O'Shaughnessy.
