The 2026 Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot promises a thrilling rematch between Aidan O'Brien's top fillies, Precise (11/10) and True Love (9/2), after their springtime Classic successes. Precise seeks to confirm dominance following her Irish 1000 Guineas win, while Newmarket victor True Love aims for revenge. Other notable entries include Abashiri, The Prettiest Star, and promising challengers like So Regal and Balantina. Key contenders from France and Ireland round out a competitive field. Current betting strongly favors Precise, but the race is shaping up to be a highlight for racing fans.

2026 Coronation Stakes Entries

Precise and True Love look set to meet again at Royal Ascot. True Love claimed the bragging rights in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket, before Precise bounced back with a comfortable victory over her stablemate in the Irish equivalent of that Classic.

Abashiri finished behind both Ballydoyle fillies at the Curragh, but will still represent Charlie Appleby at Royal Ascot. The Prettiest Star will be looking to build on a reappearance fourth in the 1000 Guineas. Touleen will also renew rivalries with the market leaders, following a sixth-place finish in that Newmarket Classic.

So Regal could make the jump into Group One company following a runner-up finish in the Michael Seely at York. Donnacha O'Brien has entered Balantina, despite his filly's absence since that excellent win at the Breeders' Cup. Francis Graffard could be represented by Edaja, who remains undefeated after winning a Listed race on her turf debut at Chantilly.

America Queen is a possible runner for Richard Hughes, despite missing both the 1000 Guineas and the Irish 1000 Guineas. Other potential runners include French 1000 Guineas fourth Narissa, Paddy Twomey's raider Black Caviar Gold, and Jack Channon's Fred Darling Stakes winner, Sukanya.
