This article provides expert betting tips for Saturday's ITV Racing coverage, predominantly from Newbury, with additional action at Market Rasen and Ripon. The tips include Bint Archange in the Super Sprint at Newbury, Prince Of The Seas in the Ripon Bell-Ringer Handicap, Almuhit aiming for a repeat win in the Pertemps Network Handicap, and outsider Continuance each-way at Market Rasen. Attention is also given to draw bias and market trends, helping punters focus on high-value opportunities this weekend.

After a blockbuster Saturday last week, this weekend's ITV Racing programme has a more low-key feel to it. The bulk of the action comes from Newbury, where the Super Sprint headlines the card. We'll also enjoy two National Hunt races from Market Rasen on Summer Plate Day, along with a competitive handicap on the Flat at Ripon.

Here are my best betting tips for Saturday's ITV races at Newmarket, York and Ascot.

ITV Racing Tips - Saturday 18th July

1:55pm Newbury - Steventon Stakes Tips

I don't like anything in the opener. Happy to leave that one alone.

2:10pm Market Rasen - Summer Handicap Hurdle Tips

CONTINUANCE (16/1) hasn't done much winning of late, but his form over the last year or so suggests he could be well handicapped. Martin Keighley's five-year-old was narrowly touched off by Fortune De Mer at Cheltenham's December Meeting, and has since been placed behind All In You and Castle Ivers.

Continuance finished second again on his most recent outing at Newton Abbot, where Freddie Keighley was forced to make the running. Continuance usually prefers to be held up behind a strong pace, and he should get that on Saturday. Odds of 16/1 underestimate his chances.

2:25pm Newbury - Pertemps Network Handicap Tips

There have been several repeat winners of this two-mile handicap over the years. ALMUHIT (11/2) claimed victory 12 months ago, and Faye Bramley's seven-year-old returns to Newbury running off a mark 2lb lower.

Almuhit's triumph in last year's race was his second victory at Newbury in the space of a month, having struck at the June meeting three weeks earlier. Bramley's seven-year-old contested some competitive handicaps during the jumps season before claiming an easy victory at Fontwell under Harry Cobden at the beginning of the summer.

Sean Levey's mount bumped into Bailey's Khelstar on his return to the Flat at Newbury last month. Almuhit is 2lb better off with that rival on Saturday, and Bramley has her string in excellent form.

2:45pm Market Rasen - Summer Plate Handicap Chase Tips

Another I'm keen to chance at Market Rasen is NICKELFORCE (25/1). Ben Case's seven-year-old beat some decent rivals at Wincanton in November before bouncing back to winning ways at Fakenham at the end of May, producing an RPR of 123.

Nickelforce was last seen finishing a distant second behind the front-running Bagheera Ginge, having given the leader a little too much rope in the early stages around the tight Stratford circuit. Jack Quinlan's mount appears to be much more effective going right-handed, and he'll carry a lovely low weight in Saturday's feature.

3:02pm Newbury - Hackwood Stakes Tips

3:15pm Ripon - Ripon Bell-Ringer Handicap Tips

PRINCE OF THE SEAS (9/2) has improved steadily since joining David O'Meara's yard and should relish the conditions in this mile-and-a-half handicap.

Rated as high as 94 when trained by Ralph Beckett, Prince Of The Seas took three or four starts to find his feet for his new connections. Mark Winn's mount ran well under 10-4 over ten furlongs at Doncaster on his penultimate start before seeing out 13 furlongs well when finishing second at Hamilton last time out.

Prince Of The Seas was held up at the rear on that occasion, but thundered home down the inside rail to finish within a neck of Spirit Of Acklam. This mark of 87 looks well within reach, and Prince Of The Seas has gained plenty of experience around this tricky track since making the move to North Yorkshire.

3:37pm Newbury - Super Sprint Stakes Tips

Despite attracting a capacity field every year, the market is rarely too far off the mark in this valuable conditions race. Only two of the last 10 winners started outside the top five in the betting. All of the last 14 winners emerged from a double-figure stall too, so Rollthedicebaby could be hugely inconvenienced by his low draw in stall two.

BINT ARCHANGE (4/1) has to be in with a massive chance, and odds of 4/1 could look very generous by the time Saturday's race gets under way.

Richard Hughes' filly won nicely at Ascot in May before finishing last of the 27 runners in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot. Bint Archange bounced back from that disappointing effort at Sandown, where she edged out Bear Affair to land the Dragon Stakes in good style.

Despite that Listed victory, Bint Archange carried just 9-00 into the Super Sprint, and William Buick will be delighted with his high draw in stall 20. She certainly looks to have a favourite's chance.

One to consider at a massive price is BALLISTY (40/1), who kept on well to finish third on his handicap debut at York last weekend. Jack Jones' youngster has shown good early speed on all his starts this year, so this drop back to the minimum trip looks sensible. Blinkers go on for this large-field assignment, and Jones has previous in the Super Sprint, having saddled Caburn to victory in this race in 2024.
