2021 Cheltenham Gold Cup Odds and Entries - Al Boum Photo heads list of 41 entries

There was great excitement today when the entries for the 2021 Cheltenham Gold Cup were revealed. Al Boum Photo will bid to become just the fourth horse to win the race three times in a row, and Willie Mullins' charge currently heads the ante-post betting.

Here's a look through the Gold Cup ante-post betting, and a few notable names that featured in the entries.

Al Boum Photo is one of seven entries for Ireland's top trainer, Willie Mullins. Kemboy and Melon could both make an appearance, as could Allaho, Burrows Saint, Castlebawn West and Acapella Bourgeois.

Gordon Elliott will give Delta Work another crack at the Gold Cup, as well as two-time runner Presenting Percy. Former Ballymore and Ryanair winner, Samcro has been entered, along with Shattered Love and Battleoverdoyen.

Henry De Bromhead holds four entries, but only Minella Indo and A Plus Tard look likely runners. Jessica Harrington has entered just one of her horses, 2019 Grand National runner-up, Magic Of Light.

Nicky Henderson will throw last year's runner-up, Santini in for another go at the Gold Cup. RSA Novices' Chase winner, Champ is another likely runner, with Henderson also handing an entry to Terrefort.

Paul Nicholls has Frodon and Cyrname entered up, along with Master Tommytucker and Real Steel, who finished sixth for Willie Mullins in last year's feature race on day four of the Cheltenham Festival.

Vinndication and Imperial Aura could represent Kim Bailey. Waiting Patiently has also been entered in the Gold Cup, while owners Kate and Andrew Brooks could be represented by Saint Calvados, Simply The Betts and Itchy Feet.

Colin Tizzard has handed entries to Lostintranslation, Mister Malarkey and former Gold Cup winner, Native River. Other notable entries include Bristol De Mai, Yorkhill, Lake View Lad and last year's Ultima winner, The Conditional.
