2023 Hunter Chase Entries

Billaway ran down Winged Leader to hand Willie Mullins his first victory in this race 12 months ago. Patrick Mullins' mount will return to defend his crown in 2023, as will Winged Leader, who currently sits second in the betting.

Winged Leader's stablemate, Vaucelet also looks set to represent David Christie at the Cheltenham Festival and it's the eight-year-old who currently tops the Hunter Chase market. A third Christie runner, Ferns Lock also sits prominently in the betting, along with Henry De Bromhead's Chris's Dream, who's won two point-to-points this term.

Paul Nicholls could run Secret Investor, Bob And Co and Cat Tiger. Tom Ellis' Latenightpass could return to the Cheltenham Festival. Henry De Bromhead's second-string, Monalee can also be backed, along with former Cheltenham winner Chatham Street Lad and The Storyteller.

Oliver Greenall's Grand National hopeful, Gesskille could run before going onto Aintree. Other possible runners include Good Bye Sam, Brain Power, Envious Editor, Dubai Quest and former winner, Portlock Bay.
