2024 Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle Entries
Irish horses have won all of the last six renewals of this handicap, so it's no surprise to see raiders dominating the market. Joseph O'Brien's Lark In The Mornin is favourite, ahead of Batman Girac, who was handed a British rating of 133 when entered for a handicap at Ascot earlier this month.
Gordon Elliott, who's won three of the past six renewals, has handed entries to Wodhooh, Ndaawi and Barrier. Kala Conti, Pacini and Timeless Piece are other possible runners for Elliott, with Willie Mullins entering Miss Manzor and Karia Des Blaises, along with Batman Girac.
William Durkan's Eagle Fang won the Naas Rated Hurdle that's thrown up four of the last five winners of the Boodles. Tranquil Sea, Harsh, Bright Legend and Eagles Reign could also represent Irish connections on day one of the Cheltenham Festival.
Paul Nicholls' Liari is the only home runner in the top 12 of the betting for this handicap. Harry Derham has entered Givemefive here, as well as the Triumph Hurdle. Dan Skelton's Kartoon And Co, Roaring Legend for Olly Murphy, Gary Moore's Royal Way and Jack Jones' An Bradan Feasa could also take up their entries.
