Leading the way in the betting is Paul Nicholls' Stencil, who finished a distant second behind East India Dock on his British debut on Trials Day, having run four times over hurdles on French soil.

Gavin Cromwell will be represented by Total Look, who was rated 79 on the flat and has impressed on his three hurdles runs in Ireland. Willie Mullins' leading contender could be Willy De Houelle, who was well-backed for the Triumph when he arrived in Ireland but has failed to live up to his Grade One billing in three starts since.

Joseph O'Brien could be represented by Grade Three winner, Naturally Nimble and the mare Galileo Dame, who finished a very close second to Hello Neighbour in the Juvenile Hurdle at the Dublin Racing Festival. Gordon Elliott's leading light could be Leopardstown winner Wendrock. Puturhandstogether, Sony Bill and Holy See could also fly the flag for Ireland on day one of the Cheltenham Festival.

James Owen looks likely to run Lavender Hill Mob, as he looks to separate him from stablemate East India Dock. Other potential home runners in this 4yo Handicap include Warren Greatrex's Quantock Hill, Teriferma for Jack Jones and another James Owen recruit from the flat, Liam Swagger.
