2025 Plate Handicap Chase Odds - Jagwar leads Madara in Festival market

Here's the latest Plate Handicap Chase betting and a look at the most likely runners.

Heading the betting for this year's Plate is Jagwar, who also tops the market for the Jack Richards Novices' Chase, following his victory on Trials Day. Fellow novice, Answer To Kayf also sits prominently in the Plate betting, but would need a fourth run over fences to run in an open handicap.

Dan Skelton looks set to run new recruit Madara, who won at Cheltenham for Kieran Burke last season. Experienced novice, Springwell Bay is a possible runner for the O'Neill family. Crebilly could return for another crack, having finished second to Shakem Up'Arry in this race 12 months ago. 

Gordon Elliott could run Sa Fureur, who finished fourth as the favourite in the last year's Grand Annual, along with Farren Glory and American Mike. John McConnell's Trials Day winner Moon D'Orange could also fly the flag for Ireland on day three of the Cheltenham Festival, along with Joseph O'Brien's Grade One runner-up, Jordans.

Masaccio and Johnnywho are novices who've run four times over fences and qualify for an open handicap. Other potential runners include Billytherealbigred, Etalon, Imperial Saint and Let's Go Champ.
