Day two of the Cheltenham Festival is known as Ladies Day, and the Queen Mother Champion Chase is the main event. Chacun Our Soi was the short-priced favourite in 2021, but Willie Mullins's chaser could only finish third, as Put The Kettle On won for the second Festival in a row.

After missing his intended reappearance in the Tingle Creek, Shishkin drifted slightly in the Queen Mother betting. Nicky Henderson's star made his belated return in the Desert Orchid at Kempton, thrashing Greaneteen in superb style, and was cut into even money by most bookmakers to win at his third Cheltenham Festival.
The only other runner sitting on a single-figure price is Energumene, who remains unbeaten over fences following an easy reappearance win in the Hilly Way Chase. Stablemate Chacun Pour Soi has drifted in the betting, after finishing last in the Tingle Creek at Sandown.
Despite losing to Shishkin over Christmas, Tingle Creek winner Greaneteen still sits prominently in the Cheltenham Festival betting. as does Nube Negra, who bolted up in the Shloer Chase first time out, before disappointing at Sandown three weeks later.
Envoi Allen could be a surprise Champion Chase candidate, having been successfully dropped down to two miles by Henry De Bromhead over Christmas. Put The Kettle On is 25/1 to defend her crown. Captain Guinness and Hitman can be backed at similar prices.
