Klassical Dream bolted up on his first start of the season in this race 12 months ago. After winning another Grade One over Christmas, Willie Mullins' star has disappointed on his last two starts, but that hasn't stopped Ladbrokes from installing the defending champion as their 6/4 favourite.
Sire Du Berlais finally made the breakthrough at Grade One level by winning at Aintree last time out and he sits second in the betting. Fellow ten-year-old, Paisley Park has roared back to form in recent starts at Cheltenham and Emma Lavelle's star makes the trip over from England for the first time.
Thedevilscoachman dropped back to hurdling to win the Boyne Hurdle last time out and will step up to three miles for the first time. Vanillier also makes the transition back to hurdles, having struggled to maintain his form over the larger obstacles.
Ashdale Bob and Gentlemansgame will take up their entries on Thursday. Former Mares' Novices' Hurdle winner, Concertista rounds off the field.

Klassical Dream's best performances in recent seasons have come on the back of lengthy breaks. Mullins' star has been extremely underwhelming since that reappearance win over Christmas, so I'd be inclined to take him on at his current price.
The two ten-year-olds, Sire Du Berlais and Paisley Park are respected, but both travel to Punchestown at the end of long, hard seasons. Thedevilscoachman has plenty of potential as a staying hurdler, but I worry that the ground may be a little too quick for him.
With three paid places available, I fancy a punt on former Albert Bartlett winner, VANILLIER.
Gavin Cromwell's charge has been campaigned over fences this season. Although Vanillier did manage to win a Grade Two here at Punchestown, his jumping left a lot to be desired and Keith Donoghue's mount has been found out in recent starts at Leopardstown, Naas and Cheltenham.
Vanillier should be much happier back over the smaller obstacles. He likes decent ground and boasts valuable winning form around this track. 14/1 is a decent each way price.
Verdict
Vanillier couldn't show his class consistently over fences. This return to hurdling should suit and a big performance wouldn't be a surprise.
