2025 Epsom Derby Confirmed Runners - Delacroix heads field of 19 for Epsom
The 2025 Epsom Derby will be a spectacular event with 19 colts competing for the title on Saturday. Delacroix, emerging as the favorite, drew a wide stall of 14. The draw also sees Lambourn in the favorable stall 10, traditionally successful for Derby winners. For the first time since 2003, 19 colts will contest the Epsom Derby on Saturday.
Delacroix remains the Epsom Derby favourite and Ryan Moore's mount has landed a favourable wide drawn in stall 14. The Lion In Winter is widest of all out in stall 19, whereas Lambourn has landed the plum draw in 10 - the stall that has produced more Derby winners than any other.
2000 Guineas winner, Ruling Court was placed kindly in stall seven. Dante hero, Pride Of Arras will break from gate 16, with the runner-up at York, Damysus one stall inside of him in 15.
Midak was supplemented into the race by owners the Aga Khan, and Mickael Barzalona has landed a potentially tricky draw in stall four. Lazy Griff and Stanhope Gardens are on Midak's inside, with 250/1 outsider Rogue Impact drawn in the coffin stall down in one.
Oisin Murphy reprises his Classic-winning partnership with Saeed bin Suroor and rides Tornado Alert. Joseph O'Brien sends Tennessee Stud over from Ireland, with New Ground representing French handler Henri Devin.
Sea Scout earned his spot in the field by winning the Blue Ribband Trial here at Epsom earlier in the season. Tuscan Hills represents Amo Racing. Al Wasl Storm, Nightime Dancer and Green Storm complete the Derby field.
