Sunday's 2026 Irish 1000 Guineas at the Curragh sees Aidan O'Brien leading with top-market favorites Precise and True Love. Precise leads the betting despite losing to True Love previously, but O'Brien is confident in her improvement. Rival trainers feature strong entries such as Appleby's Abashiri and Channon's Sukanya, with several other notable fillies also in the mix. O'Brien seeks to add to his impressive win tally, but faces a wide-open, quality field in this year's renewal.

Sunday's card at the Curragh is headlined by the 2026 renewal of the Irish 1000 Guineas. Aidan O'Brien won this Classic for an eleventh time with Lake Victoria last year, and he'll saddle the top two in the betting ahead of Sunday's renewal.

2026 Irish 1000 Guineas Entries

Precise currently leads True Love in Sunday's betting, despite losing comfortably to her stablemate on her reappearance in the 1000 Guineas.

True Love went into that Classic on the back of a victory in the trial at Leopardstown, and blew her rivals apart to win comfortably at Newmarket. Precise, who had suffered a set-back at the start of the season, could only finish seventh in the 1000 Guineas, but Aidan O'Brien seems confident that his Group One-winning juvenile will have improved plenty for that return run.

Charlie Appleby will be represented by Abashiri, who placed fifth in the 1000 Guineas on just her second career start. Jack Channon's Sukanya skipped that Classic at Newmarket, despite beating Touleen in the Fred Darling Stakes at Newmarket.

Richard Hughes could send Nell Gwyn runner-up America Queen over to Ireland. Paddy Twomey will be represented by Black Caviar Gold, who finished a close second behind Donnacha O'Brien's Kensington Lane when the two met in the Athasi Stakes three weeks ago.

Aidan O'Brien has also entered Athasi Stakes third Drop Dead Gorgeous, along with Group Two winner Beautify. Leopardstown Trial runner-up Magny Cours looks set to represent Daniel McLoughlin. Other likely runners include Joe Murphy's Pivotal Attack, Karl Burke's raider Hope Queen, and Joseph O'Brien's duo of Sinmara and Green Sense.
