2027 Scottish Grand National Entries

Following a sensational Grand National Festival at Aintree, Joseph O'Brien's Kim Roque has been backed into clear favouritism for Saturday's Scottish Grand National.

Kim Roque was last seen staying on from the rear to finish fourth in the Kim Muir at the Cheltenham Festival. Ask Brewster made all to land that handicap, and features in the entries at Ayr, along with Willie Mullins' Road To Home, who placed a close second at Cheltenham.

King Of Answers ran on well to finish second to Holloway Queen in the National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham, and sits prominently in the betting here. As does Ultima Handicap Chase third Quebecois, and another Paul Nicholls inmate, Midlands National winner Isaac Des Obeaux.

Swinley Handicap Chase winner, Montregard looks set to represent Tom Lacey and JP McManus. Mark Walford's Chasingouttheblues will be looking for his fourth win in his last five starts. Jamie Snowden has entered Midlands National third Git Maker, with Katate Dori likely to represent Sam Thomas.

Despite his flop in the Midlands National, Emmet Mullins has entered J'Arrive De L'Est. Maggs Mullins' Blaze The Way will carry top-weight off a mark of 145. Sarah Connell's Dublin National winner, Promontory could also represent Irish connections.

The in-form Nicky Richards has entered experienced chaser Famous Bridge. Former Welsh National winner Val Dancer could run for Mel Rowley. Other eye-catching entrants include Warren Greatrex's Heracles Westwood, Kap Vert for Philip Hobbs and Johnson White, Donald McCain's Maximillian, and Guard The Moon for Nigel and Willy Twiston-Davies.
