Bow Echo was unbeaten at two, winning the Ascendant Stakes at Haydock before a one-length triumph in the Royal Lodge Stakes. The tragic demise of Gewan, Publish's setback, and the clerical error at Ballydoyle have all resulted in George Boughey's charge rising to the head of this Classic betting heat.

Distant Storm ran away with the Tattersalls Stakes at Newmarket, and wasn't beaten far when third in the 2000 Guineas. Charlie Appleby, who'll be looking for his fourth victory in the last five runnings of this Classic, will also be represented by King's Trail, unbeaten after two starts on the all-weather.

A technical error resulted in both Albert Einstein and Gstaad being scratched from the 2000 Guineas. Both could still be supplemented by Aidan O'Brien, who also has Group One-winning juveniles Puerto Rico and Hawk Mountain sitting prominently in the market.

Oxagon shot up the 2000 Guineas betting after an impressive return in the Craven Stakes. Roger Varian's Avicenna finished second in that Trial, and had his odds cut as a result. Alparslan then upset Zavateri and Albert Einstein in the Greenham Stakes at Newbury, and was cut into 20/1.

Francis-Henri Graffard has confirmed that Prix Djebel runner-up Samangan will be heading to Newmarket next month. Jim Boyle could be represented by Mill Reef Stakes runner-up Into The Sky. Thesecretadversary is a possible runner for Fozzy Stack following his reappearance victory at Leopardstown.
