Once the fillies have left the track after the Cheveley Park, colts take centre stage in the Middle Park Stakes. Established in 1866, many of the sport's greats have won the Middle Park during their juvenile campaigns, and this year's renewal is shaping up to be a cracker.

Let's take a look through the latest betting for this year's Middle Park Stakes and look through the entries.

Topping the ante-post betting for Saturday's second Group One is Perfect Power. Richard Fahey's juvenile ran out a ready winner of the Prix Morny last time out, and will bid for his second Group One win of the season at Newmarket.

Armor finished fourth behind Perfect Power in the Morny, and was then narrowly beaten by Caturra as he dropped back to five furlongs. Both could run in the Middle Park, as could Alan King's Asymmetric, a decent third in the Prix Morny.

Ebro River edged out Dr Zempf to win the Group One Phoenix Stakes earlier in the summer, and they could renew rivalries at the Cambridgeshire Meeting. Fozzy Stack could send Castle Star over from Ireland, while Go Bears Go could represent David Loughnane.

Lusail will drop back in trip, having been soundly beaten under a penalty in the Champagne Stakes last time out. Aidan O'Brien has HMS Endeavour, Glounthaune and New York City entered up. Twilight Jet and Wings Of War round off the entries.
