The Middle Park Stakes is the colts version of the Cheveley Park Stakes, which is run on the same day in September.
Having been won by some of the best colts in Britain, such as Dream Ahead, Johannesburg and US Navy Flag, the Middle Park Stakes is a great race to win and it always attracts a big betting crowd.

Middle Park Stakes history
The first running of the Middle Park Stakes was in 1866 when titled the Middle Park Plate.
It was only restricted to colts in 1987 and after spending a brief period featured on Future Champions Day, it was moved back to the Cambridgeshire meeting alongside the Cheveley Stakes.
The Middle Park Stakes is also a feature of the Breeders' Cup Challenge, which typically peaks the interest of international punters.
The winners an automatic entry into the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Sprint, but the form out of the race can often be seen in the 2000 Guineas the following year.
Three jockeys have incredibly won the race on six occasions. Danny Maher, Sir Gordon Richards and Lester Piggott have all scored six wins in the Middle Park Stakes.
There is a host of trainers with four winners to their names, but Aidan O'Brien has trained five winners to top the list.
His most recent win came in 2017 with US Navy Flag.
