The second leg of a Group One double-header on Friday at Royal Ascot is the Coronation Stakes. This historic race often draws together the winners of Classics staged around Europe during the spring and this year's contest will see the champions of Newmarket, Ireland and France go head-to-head.

Let's take a look through the latest Coronation Stakes betting and run through the headline entries.

Despite only finishing third on her reappearance in the Irish 1000 Guineas, Opera Singer has made her way to the head of this betting heat. Aidan O'Brien warned punters that his Prix Marcel Boussac winner would need her first run of the season and Opera Singer performed well, crossing the line four lengths adrift of the winner.

Karl Burke's Fallen Angel made it two-from-two at the Curragh by landing that Irish Classic, and she looks likely to take up her entry. As does Elmalka, who upset the applecart by winning the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket having gone off at 28/1, with favourite Fallen Angel only finishing eighth.

Christopher Head will give Ramateulle another start over a mile, despite seemingly failing to see out that distance at Newmarket. Porta Fortuna looks set to remain at eight furlongs also, having come up a neck short of Elmalka in the Guineas.

Surprise French 1000 Guineas winner, Rouhiya has been entered by Francis-Henri Graffard. Impressive Michael Seely winner, Devoted Queen and beaten French 1000 Guineas favourite, Romantic Style have both been entered by Charlie Appleby.

Buttons, Content and Everlasting could join stablemate Opera Singer in the Royal Ascot field. Other possible runners include George Boughey's Chic Colombine, A Lilac Rolla for Paddy Twomey, See The Fire for Andrew Balding, and Ralph Beckett's filly Skellet.
