Out of all of Aidan O'Brien's hot-pots heading in the Breeders' Cup, Minnie Hauk emerged with the best draw. O'Brien has been delighted with how his Classic winner has come out of the narrow defeat in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, and Christophe Soumillon's mount will break from stall eight on Saturday night.
William Buick has landed the rail berth aboard Rebel's Romance, who'll be looking for his third victory in this valuable contest. Francis Graffard is represented by former King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes winner Goliath, who returned to top form with a recent Group One win out in Germany.
Ralph Beckett and Rossa Ryan team up with Amiloc, who drops back down in trip following a runner-up finish in the Irish St Leger. Frankie Dettori reprises his Nashville Derby-winning partnership with James Owen's Wimbledon Hawkeye. Dylan Browne McMonagle jumps into the saddle of Ebor winner Ethical Diamond for Willie Mullins.
Billy Loughnane gets the call-up on Sword Dancer Stakes winner, El Cordobes. Joe Leavy rides Rashabar for Brian Meehan. Hamad Al Jehani's Canadian International Stakes winner, Silawi completes the raiding party.

There's rarely an upset in the Breeders' Cup Turf. Only two of the last 15 winners have returned an SP longer than 7/1. The cream usually rises to the top.
That being said, Minnie Hauk and Rebel's Romance are so dominant in the betting, there's some value to be found further afield in the market. The one I've landed on is ETHICAL DIAMOND (25/1), who was pointed at the Breeders' Cup immediately after his excellent victory in the Ebor.
Willie Mullins' star has been imperious on his two starts on the flat this year. Ethical Diamond cruised to victory in the Duke Of Edinburgh Handicap at Royal Ascot, and turned what looked to be a competitive Ebor into a procession under William Buick, looking every inch a Graded performer on the flat in the process.
Mullins has been training his five-year-old for Del Mar since that bloodless triumph in the Knavesmire, and the drop back in trip doesn't worry me. Stall 14 could prove tricky for young jockey Dylan Browne McMonagle, but Rebel's Romance won this from stall 11 last year. A decent early position will be vital.
