The Galway Plate tops the billing on another excellent day of racing at the Galway Festival.

Here are my best betting tips for Wednesday's card at Galway.

5:35pm Galway - Money-Back 2nd Every Race Handicap Hurdle Tips

An interesting handicap debutante in this contest is IMARAJAN (11/1). Eoin Doyle's recruit reached a mark of 68 on the flat, but was beaten out of sight on his hurdles debut for the team at Wexford back in April.

Paddy Cody's mount bounced back with a fine effort at Kilbeggan, finishing a close second to Mento who has scored in a decent handicap since then. Imarajan then claimed his first win over hurdles back at Kilbeggan earlier this month, hitting the front late to claim a cosy victory.

Those Kilbeggan maidens were run over trips that were half a mile short of this distance. However, Imarajan stayed 14 furlongs well on the flat, and stayers on the level usually want close to three miles over jumps, so I'm confident that this distance will suit Cody's mount well.

7:15pm Galway - Visit Tote26 On Course Today Tips

Patrick Mullins has ridden the winner of this maiden on numerous occasions, and DADDY LONG LEGS (4/1) is fancied to add to that tally on Wednesday.

Willie Mullins' seven-year-old has reached a rating of 150 over hurdles. Daddy Long Legs produced one of his best performances when second to stablemate Absurde in the Plumpton Champion Hurdle last April, and was last seen finishing second in Group Three company at Limerick earlier this month.

Daddy Long Legs finished third to the classy stayer Carmers in a Flat maiden last season, and was second again in another maiden at Down Royal last month. Patrick's mount has to carry top weight here, but he's certainly classy enough to make his mark on the Flat.

7:50pm Galway - Tote Every Day Is A Money-Back Day Handicap Tips

MONVOE (8/1) has won his last three starts over a mile, and Ray Cody's three-year-old could have more to give in what looks to be a competitive handicap.

Billy Lee's mount started his season with back-to-back handicap wins at Limerick and Leopardstown. Having then failed to see out nine furlongs back at Leopardstown in June, Monvoe bounced back to winning ways six days later at Limerick.

Again, Cody's three-year-old couldn't produce his best over nine furlongs in a hugely valuable handicap at the Curragh last time out. Monvoe wants a fast pace to aim at over a mile, and there's an abundance of potential front-runners in this field.
